The Dallas Stars’ Triangle

For the most part, daily life will revolve around the Dallas Stars' "Triangle", which is about 35 square miles defined by the team's practice facility in Frisco, the American Airlines Center downtown, and Love Field Airport.

It's about 23 miles from the Stars' practice rink (which is basically right across from The Star, which is the brand new world headquarters of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys) to American Airlines Center on a straight shot down the Dallas North Tollway. If you were going to pick one road to get familiar with right away, it would be the Tollway. It's the most important travel route for Stars' coaches and players to have access to, since it links the practice and game rinks.

Love Field completes the triangle, and is generally a 10-15 minute drive to most players' homes, which is one reason why Dallas is considered one of the easiest NHL cities to live and play in.
